=Recitation 30}

Objectives:

[(i)]
  • Students will be prepared for the final exam

\boxed{\parbox[c]{6.5in}{ Important Notes:

[(i)]
  • Before class look at an old exam (not the current exam) pick out 5-6 problems that you believe are key problems that are exam level problems, not too hard, but also not too easy, and problems that many of your students will likely struggle with. Bring these problems to class (ideally put them on a handout for the students), and plan to go over solving these problems.
  • Among these problems I strongly recommended problems like
  • Definition of derivative
  • Related Rates
  • Optimization

[(i)]
  • [ (75 minutes)] Alternate on each problem, give the students seven minutes to try the problem by themselves as if it was a test, then go over the problem as a class. The idea here is to help students to realize where they are going to struggle and what they need to study.
